The romantic synopsis
During summer 1983, the main character Elio Perlman is on vacation in North Italia with his family in their family’s house. The atmosphere is calm, just like the family’s mood : soft music, sun and swimming under the olive trees. During this vacation which sounded calm, Elio father, a teacher specialized in the Greco roman culture bring a young doctor to work with him : Oliver.
